Love the restaurant decorations. Fast service. Good portion size of meats. Bill came out around $200 for party of 6.

They have the hotpot condiments that we would crave for. Very delicious self-serve side dishes bar, from crackers to sweet desserts and appetizers. It's my to-go place even I don't eat spicy food, they have non-spicy options as well. Interior is very spacious, very authentic decor. The owner/staff are nice and patient. Have been coming back consistently, their quality is good and never wait in line as we crave for hotpot.

Food was good , similar to another famous one in San Gabriel. Snack bar not as attractive. Service was good.

Nice location with beautiful decoration inside. It's not AYCE so the price can add up quickly depending on what you ordered. We got the bone broth and spicy chili. It was good but be careful with the spicy level. We got mild and still pretty spicy. My favorite is the house beef and duck blood. Probably one of the best duck blood in the area. Overall, the food is good. The service overall is good. The girl was very friendly but the guy not too much and parking suck.

We decided to try this place on a weeknight and there was plenty of seating. There is an automatic $3/person fee to use the snack and sauce bar, which is common with most of these Chinese hot pot places around the SGV. The interior looks like old China with bamboo pillars and stone water fountains. Depending how hungry you are, the cost can add up, but I thought the portion of meat they gave was pretty good. The sauce bar had all the necessities, including Thai chili to make your sauce extra spicy. They also have little jars of sesame oil which I didn't use, but looked fancy. The snack bar had cold dishes such as spicy jelly noodles, garlic cucumbers, kimchi, kelp, edamame, and bean sprouts. They also had Asian rice crackers. I also like their options of dessert soups, which were mung bean soup, brown sugar jelly dessert, and white woodear dessert. These really helped to cool down the spiciness from the hot pot. We got the 2-flavored split hot pot, and chose medium spicy and bone broth. The medium spicy broth was very spicy, and got spicier over time as it became more concentrated. The bone broth was a nice balance, although much blander compared to the spicy broth. For meat, we got three plates : ribeye, beef belly, and lamb. That was more than enough food for the two of us and we actually had leftovers. We also ordered a veggie platter that came with a little bit of bok choy, tong Ho, corn, mushroom, and tomatoes. I thought this was a nice combination of vegetables compared to other hot pot places that only give you greens. We ordered a side of vermicelli and hand pulled noodles, and I like the hand pulled noodles more. The portion was also pretty generous with the hand pulled noodles and was good enough for us to share. With the snacks from the side bar, the food we ordered was more than enough, and we might even consider ordering a little less next time. Others estimate about $45 per person, and that is pretty much on the mark. They serve alcohol as well, which can also add to your total. Service was OK, there are only three people working so it was a little slow to wave someone down for more broth. But it was also a weeknight so perhaps they had less staff. Overall, we would return and cut out the vermicelli and a plate of meat, which would be perfect for us.

I was here for a belated bday dinner on a Saturday at 5pm. The venue is very ancient Chinese and very clean. We were seated at a round table for 5 ppl. This is NOT an AYCE place, but the prices are pretty reasonable. We ordered the half n half pot with bone broth and medium spicy broth. You are given a menu/checklist and mark off what you want, so ordering was easy. The soup bases were pretty bold in flavor and my friends found the bone broth a little salty, but not a problem since we can dilute it with water. The ingredients were fresh. We LOVED the shrimp paste, the cuts of beef, and the marinated spicy beef tongue was good. We even ordered the $70 A5 Wagyu plate which was good, but wasn't too memorable. We also tried the black fermented tofu and that turned out to taste like charcoal, so we weren't a fan of that. Overall, I prefer this place over Xiao Long Kan (the other hot pot similar to this pace in the SGV). Oh... we loved their snacks and dessert bar! Their osmanthus jelly dessert was so good! It's better than HDL's dessert bar. LOL. I will come back to this place. The servers were very nice and attentive. We spent about $330 for 5 ppl so it wasn't too bad and we definitely left the place stuffed and happy.

Beautiful ambience. Not AYCE so I had trouble trying to decipher the menu due to no pictures. I went with the half spicy (medium) and half bone broth. My favorites were the spicy broth, brisket cuts, hand pulled noodles, bamboo slices and daikon. The spicy broth is well seasoned and will numb your tongue. You will not need a sauce because the spicy broth is just that good. But beware on choosing your spice level. It's very spicy! Spent approx $180 which filled up 4 people.

TLDR; nice location and good food. Know that this type of hot pot is very oily. This hot pot restaurant is in Camellia Square of Temple City. It is one of the many Asian restaurants around the plaza, and specializes in Chong Qing hot pot -- that means lots of beef tallow (though there is also vegetarian option) and lots of peppers. I started out getting medium spicy which wasn't enough, and when I asked the wait staff for additional spice/sauce they smiled and were quick to dump a pot of red hot chili oil filled to the brim with dried chili peppers (that was more than enough to bring in the heat). The hot pot ingredients themselves look to be on the more expensive side vs. places like Haidilao or happy lamb, but the quantity is larger so I'd say they are about even. The decor is very nice, and the place is clean. Service was fast, and your hot pot experience includes a wide variety of side dishes and a dipping sauce bar. Overall, great experience, but this hot pot isn't really my style (waaaaaay too oily for me; but that's how it's supposed to be!).

Wow this place is amazing! Their interior decor and their family style sitting is beautifully made. Food was excellent and they have tons of choices. They also have some exotic dishes to choose from. Best part was that you can have two different flavor soup bases as well. All meat we tried was high quality meat! Service was excellent and the staffs were attentive. They bring the order quick and answered all over questions. To top that they also have make your own sauce counter and bunch of snacks to try from (of course chargeable) Highly recommend this place and will be coming back!

finally gave this a try and i was fairly surprised! as a precursor, i can NOT handle spicy so i only ordered the beef bone broth. that was very pepper but luckily i like black and white peppers. the meat quality is standard and so were the other add ons. i think this can compare to other a la carte hot pot places. the portions of every topping/ingredient was valuable which i felt was good for what i was paying. the hotpot broth is HUGE btw PLEASE bring friends to share. i enjoyed the decorations, it felt like i was in china back then haha and the bathroom was clean so that's a plus. the service was good, catered to our needs and such. the sauce bar (and hot foods i think) is extra. i had a good treat coming here! not sure if i can come often but for a special hot pot day, this is a solid option for parties over 2
